Sharp Benefit Logistics was founded in 1989 by Rhine Sharp as he signed his first contract with Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Today, Sharp Benefit Logistics serves over fifty clients, varying in size. They have many medical carriers and several major ancillary carriers. Sharp Benefit Logistics also offers an array of ideas and choices involving the Affordable Care Act. They promise to take clients to the Market Place and offer guidance to those who are not familiar with Federal Subsidies. Rhine and his assistant, Sean Phillips is on board to assist you with whatever your health care needs may be.

Rhine Sharp
Rhine is a native to Wilson, NC, born in 1958 to Dr. Allan and Glyn High Sharp. He graduated from Ralph L. Fike High School in 1976and attended Atlantic Christian College (now Barton College). Rhine graduated with a BS degree in Physical Education in 1980. He became a school teacher at Greenfield School from 1980 to 1985, where he coached boys soccer, girls soccer, girls basketball, and golf. In June 1986 he signed his contract with New York Life Insurance Co and is still a active with NYL today. He obtained his association with BlueCross BlueShield in 1989, and currently is an active agent there. Sharp started his personal business, Sharp Benefit Logistics, with which he conducts insurance with an impressive list of clients on the group side and has assembled a great staff to accommodate his clientele.
This is Sharp's 33rd year of business, and he plans to continue his work for many years to come. After leaving Greenfield School, he coached several travel teams until he started the soccer program at Wilson Christian Academy. In 2000, he was one of six individuals to start a new non-denominational school, Community Christian School, where he is still coaching today. Although insurance is a huge part of Rhine's life, his passion is coaching.

Sean Phillips
Sean was born to Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Phillips on August 29, 1980. Sean was the third of three boys. Sean graduated from Princeton High School in 1998. After several majors in college work, Sean decided to get his pilot license. Sean attended Airline Transport Professionals in Dallas, TX where he obtained Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor ratings. Sean came home to Wilson, NC to work for the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office as a Detention Officer and Deputy Sheriff. Simultaneously, Sean was flying the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office Aircraft operated on surveillance missions, searches for missing persons, marijuana eradication, and drug interdiction. Sean was married to Ginger Olsen in September of 2007. Sean completed his Associate Degree in Criminal Justice in 2011. Sean and Ginger added to their family with the birth of their son Christian on April 13, 2013 followed by their son Chandler on September 26, 2016. After nearly eight years in service to Wilson County, Sean and Ginger decided it to be best for Sean to embark on a new career. Sean joined Sharp Benefit Logistics in January 2014, and looks forward to serving clients just as he did serving as a Deputy Sheriff.
